Sens clip Bellevue in extras, 3-2

The Helena Senators walked off on a sacrifice fly by Koby Griffin on Friday, scoring Reilly Leary to win 3-2 over Bellevue, WA on Friday in Yakima, WA.

The Senators trailed Bellevue from the outset of the game until the bottom of the sixth, when Payton Pappas hit an RBI single to score Ryan Arntson to knot the game at two.

The score remained tied until the bottom of the eight, when Jackson Maynard led of the inning by hitting a double, and Leary came on to pinch run. Arntson reached safely on a sacrifice bunt, and Leary scored on Griffin’s sacrifice fly.

Pappas was 3-3 in the game with 2 RBIs.

The win pushes the Senator’s record in Yakima to 2-1.
