On Saturday, the Helena Senators were shutout by the Kennewick Outlaws, 5-0 in Yakima, WA.

In the loss to Kennewick, the Washington club used two hurlers to throw a two-hitter versus Helena. The Senators’ lone hits were singles by Dorvall and Henry Bowers.

Senators pitchers Riley Pickens and Henry Bowers combined for six innings of five-hit ball, permitting two earned runs.

“The boys seemed a little tired today,” the Helena skipper related. “We competed, but we just did not quite have the familiar energy. We’ll regroup and get after it tomorrow.”
