Tanner McMahon was untouchable on Wednesday, throwing a no-hitter in the Helena Reps’ 11-1 eight inning victory over the Belgrade Bandits.

McMahon gave up one run, struck out four, walked one, and hit two batters, going the distance for Helena. McMahon had command of all of his pitches, getting very few hard hit balls.

McMahon received tons of run support, as the Reps pounded out 13 hits verses Belgrade. Ryan Arntson (3-6, 2 RBIs, 3 runs), Colin Sassano (2-4, 2 runs, RBI), Ray Moore, Jr (2-3, 2 RBIs, 2 runs), Robert McCarvel (2-4, 2 RBIs, 1 run), and Talon Burchard (3 RBIs, 1 run) all had multi-hit games.

Helena didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the second inning on a suicide squeeze by Kellan Elder and an RBI single by Arntson.

The Reps scored five runs in the eighth to put away the Bandits on the 10-run rule on an RBI double by Arntson, an RBI single by Sassano, an RBI single by Burchard, a bases loaded walk by Andrew Rosston, and an RBI single by Austin Whitehouse.

The win moves the Reps to 29-12 on the year. They next play a pair of conference doubleheaders – Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Deer Lodge and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. verses the Butte Muckers at Kindrick Legion Field.
