The Helena Reps let the game slip away from them in the top of the 7th inning and fell to the Bitterroot Bucs 7-1 in their third game of pool play of the Missoula Memorial Day Tournament.
Taylor Carlson took the loss on the mound, allowing 2 runs and 9 hits scattered over 6 innings, leaving the game trailing 2-1 going into the 7th. The Bucs scored 5 in the top of the 7th to put the game away.
Caeden Suero was 2-4 with a double and a few others Reps reached on a hit or walk here or there, but the Reps were not able to get anything going offensively, with their only run coming in the first on an Andrew Rosston sacrifice fly.
Jon Burnett’s Reps fall to 2-1 in the tournament and 16-3 on the year.
