With a six run first inning burst, the Helena Reps jumped to an early lead and cruised to a 12-1 Class A Southern District Conference win over the Livingston Braves on Wednesday.
Andrew Rosston and Grady Koenig led the Reps offensively, as Rosston was 3-3 with three RBI and a triple, and Koenig added two hits, three RBI and a triple. Nik Jemmings pitched in with a two RBI base hit.
Tayler Carlson continued his year-long dominance on the mound, throwing a complete game of one-run ball, scattering five hits over seven frames, striking out five.
Coach Jon Burnett’s Reps move to 29-8 on the season and 12-2 in conference. They next travel to Dillon on Saturday to take on the Cubs in a conference doubleheader at 1:00 PM.
