The Helena Reps scored in double digits twice to sweep a Class A doubleheader from the Missoula Mavericks, 11-10 and 10-6, in the Garden City on Sunday.
The Reps banged out 11 hits in the opener and took advantage of seven Missoula errors. Helena used four pitchers (Carter Wald, Caleb Shamley, Brett Jacobs, and Keaton Ralston) with Jacobs collecting the win and Ralston earning the save.
In the nightcap, three Reps hurlers collaborated on the bump, with Keaton Ralston claiming the victory. The offense stroked eight hits, including four doubles.
Caeden Suero led the attack at the plate on the day, going 5 for 9, with three doubles and four RBIs. Those with three hits apiece were Kellen Elder and Andrew Rosston (double, RBI). Gabe Dalbec rapped a two-bagger and drove in a pair of runs.
Coach Jon Burnett’s Reps improve to 10-1 on the year.
