The Helena Reps swept the Kalispell Lakers 16-7 and 16-5 (six innings) in Kalispell on Saturday
In the first game, the Reps scored seven runs in the third on a two-run single by Tanner McMahon, an error, an RBI single by Carter Wald, an RBI single by Ryan Arntson, an RBI single by Colin Sassano, and a fielder’s choice.
Talon Burchard racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Reps. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning.
Caleb Jackson pitched lights out for Helena. Jackson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work. Tristan Siegers got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered six hits.
In the second game, Helena scored seven runs in the sixth on a two-run single by Austin Whitehouse, an RBI single by Tristan Siegers, a three-run triple by Ray Moore, and a sacrifice fly by Andrew Rosston.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with five lead changes.
The Reps pulled out the win thanks to a strong fourth inning. A wild pitch scored Ryan Arntson to give Helena the lead for good.
Whitehouse racked up three RBIs on four hits for Helena Reps 2015.
Tanner McMahon got the win for Helena. He allowed four runs over five innings. McMahon struck out three, walked one and gave up six hits.
