The Helena Reps swept the Missoula Mavs on Sunday, pounding out 22 hits in 5-4 and 16-4 victories in Missoula.
In game one, Ty McGurran and Kaiden Craigle sparked the offense with multi-hit games, and Grady Koenig pitched in with a big first inning two-run triple. Hunter Sickerson was stellar on the bump for Helena, giving up one run on two hits over the final four innings. Sickerson was credited with the win.
In game two, Craigle, Caeden Suero (2B, 3B), and Keanan Horne (2B, 3 RBI) led the offense with a pair of hits, while Matt Krieger and Brady Grigsby each contributed a two RBI. Walter Evans went the distance for the Reps, scattering eight hits and five strikeouts over five innings, picking up the win.
Jon Burnett‘s club moves to 3-0 on the season. They will next host Butte in their home opener on Wednesday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m.
