Jack Shevalier pitched a gem on Friday, but it wasn’t enough for the Helena Senators to get past Missoula, falling 2-0.
Shevalier gave up just four hits in the hard-luck loss in a game that lasted just 65 minutes.
Missoula picked up one of its runs in the third and nabbed another in the fourth, and that’s all it would need. Josh Harrington picked up the win, also allowing four hits.
“It was a good ballgame tonight,” coach Dave Thennis said. “Josh Harrington was pretty tough for them. We had an equally good performance from Jack Shevalier.
“A couple of plays and at-bats made the difference.”
